One of Karnataka’s and India’s most talked about furniture manufacturing companies, Featherlite Ltd is known for their world class office systems and furniture set up. The Aluminium powder coated furniture seating, has seen tremendous success, amongst all domestic households, across Karnataka and India. Featherlite Ltd has been extremely generous to extend their whole hearted support, towards quality education.

In line with Toyota Motors, TLKI has been instrumental in giving a new dimension to transportation in India. A joint venture between the Toyota Group, Japan and The Bafna Group, Mumbai, TLKI, is the right mix of knowledge and brilliance, required for the Logistics industry. TLKI has been a known supporter of society favourable activities and under its CSR initiatives, has played a commendable role in inspiring the students of The Chockalingam Vidyalaya School.

The Rotary International, Kengeri Upanagara:

Since last 4-5 decades, The Rotary International has been instrumental in contributing activities related to socio economic causes and been a source of refreshing change, to people across societies. The Rotary International has to its credit, more than 1.2 million friends, problem solvers and neighbours, under a strong and vast network. It’s a matter a great honour to be a recipient of Rotary International’s exemplary contributions, towards our school and The Valliappa Foundation.

The Chokalingam- Valliappa Foundation continues to inspire many students and deliver quality education, through its rich range of supporters and well-wishers and works towards a greater vision, to take education to the next level.

Opening Ceremony of New Chockalingam Vidyalaya Building – Empowering the Nation through Education

In an attempt to serve the underprivileged like never before through education, new building of the Chockalingam Vidyalaya was built. The inaugural function witnessed dignitaries Mr. Shyamprasad B. R., Managing Director, Rexroth Bosch, Hejjala and Dr. Pundaleeka Kamat, Bosch Foundation, Bidadi as the Chief Guests. Sri C. Valliappa, Chairman, Valliappa Group; Sri V. Chocko Valliappa, CEO; Sri Thyagu Valliappa and Raju, former Labour Officer, Valliappa Group, graced the function from our end.

Other dignitaries present at the function include Mr. A. Manjunath, MLA, Magadi; Mr. G. Natraj, Taluk Panchayat President, Ramnagar; Mrs. Nandaprabha Anand, Presiddent, Gram Panchayat, Manjanayaknahalli; Mr. Sheshappa, Ex. President, Gram Panchayat, Manjanaknahalli and Mr. Somegowda, Jadeyana Halli.

One among The Sona Group of Institutions, Chockalingam Vidyalaya aims to provide quality primary and secondary education to the underprivileged children. Established by philanthropist and activist, Kalvithanthai Karumuttu Thiagarajar Chettiar, The Sona Group strives to empower the underprivileged through education. He strongly believed that education is the only weapon that can drive India towards a brighter future.
