The Valliappa Foundation, a part of the reputed and globally acclaimed, “The Sona Group”, is another stupendous effort, by “The Sona Group”, in contributing to the growth of India’s economy. Shri. Karumuthu Thiagarajan Chettiar, the great visionary and freedom fighter, was the brain behind the evolution of the multi-faceted Organization, which now adds another feather in its cap, with the commissioning of the Valliappa Foundation.

Valliappa foundation was created with an aim and objective, to take quality education, to the rural sector and the under-privileged youth of the country. Under a dynamic and determined leadership team, the foundation has created, its very own space in the education sector, and is one of the most spoken about institutions, across the country, for imparting quality education, especially for the underprivileged class. The foundation continues to establish, run and maintain many schools and colleges, across, the primary, secondary and higher secondary levels, as well as Arts and Science Colleges.

The Valliappa Foundation also plays a major role in, collaborating with organizations and institutions, in similar capacity, in conducting research to improve basic education at all levels, leading to equal employment opportunity for all deserving candidates.
